Re: Latest version--ups or downs?

This is curious. I'm still using https://weather.cod.edu/digatmos/sao/@Y@M@D@H.sao ...and it's still working fine. Someone's post gave https://weather.cod.edu/digatmos/sao/@Y@M@D@I.sao as problematic. Why the @I at the end? That wouldn't work. Looking directly at the cod site part of its directory s...

Latest version--ups or downs?

I'm always excited about updated versions, though I'm sometimes kinda slow updating because things are generally operating fine as things are right now. Does anyone have any comments about the changes, as in improvements or any new challenges? I've been told by one user that scripts became either pr...

Re: Importing a MLID table

Well, I was wrong. I'm using 3.32 and my MLID table imports just fine. What happened, is that I did some updating to the file. And, while that worked in the past (w/an update), after my latest editing (new station info, stations) I have a newer MLID file that won't import. A limit error or something...

Re: Scheduler cannot find scripts after shutdown

Yep, same here. And also, if I run anything first (like simple script getting surface data), it will find all scripts correctly after that. May try your solution.

Re: Restoring NOAA/NWS radar access

Oh wow, I didn't realize that I had the wrong extender. I had https://weatherroanoke.com/digatmos.dat which wouldn't link. Sorry about that. I fixed it in my prior post as well. But to also have it here, get the correct "fixed" radar file below: https://weatherroanoke.com/digatmos.rad Any ...

Re: Restoring NOAA/NWS radar access

Okay, here is an updated digatmos.rad file which returns the NOAA radar site to working. As usual, backup your old file, just in case of problems. It goes into your users/xxxx/AppData/Local/DigitalAtmospherexxxx or wherever your Preferences has the DA operating directory is. Context: The old NOAA ur...

Okay, you guys are right. I think a bug crept in on this aspect during the update.

Re: Importing a MLID table

I'll give a URL address in the morning, that you can download my version. It is slightly updated from the last official version, with a date of July 15.

Restoring NOAA/NWS radar access

Some of you may have noticed that the "NOAA Weather Server" choice under radar sources (in Prefs) is not working (since May or so). NOAA has changed some of the URLs for their products. I have poked around and gotten the new addresses to restore NOAA access to radar data for DA. The COD ra...

Trying to eliminate bad station - a SHIP

I'm trying to delete CGDS in the digatm.rul file. It's SLP data is really messing my my surface analyses. (Lake Erie area). I've got the CGDA DEL ALL in the rule file (in the proper sequence), but it still plots. DEL SLP didn't work either. I'm wondering if the that function only applies to regular ...
