... and I have the same problem too with running the upper air. DAWS crash when it reach the point to decode the METARs. I think too that something has changed with the data packets :cry:

Temp and wind analysis

Based on Texskys and Freds works I have done following scripts for temp analyse between -48C and +48C and wind analyse up to 32 m/s; .... and it works :P So in my opinion we do not need to wait for any correction in DAWS concerning the negative celcius problems :!: #Analyze Vind# ANALYZE,OVER FILL C...

Hey Fred, I do not know if there is a standard, but all maps/forcast I have seen seems to use the same "overall" colour palet from cold to hot or calm to storm/hurricane. See for instance: http://www.wunderground.com/global/Region/EU/Temperature.html http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Reurm...
