On October 1 I deleted a bunch of spammers out of our user listings. Registration has also changed to admin approval and I will be checking them carefully. Hopefully this will put a stop to this nonsense.

Papuga, if you can give a detailed step by step description of the issue with specifics I will try to look at it in the compiler. Unfortunately I can't debug anything from general descriptions, but I appreciate knowing when there's an issue going on.

I recently did a search of open directories carrying BUFR data and found that Iowa State now appears to have it. Even if this goes offline, this tells me that the data is likely on NOAAPORT and justifies the possibility of me setting up a NOAAPORT receiver here to distribute data to Digital ...

One of you all might want to look into whether they're transitioning any of that to BUFR, as with what happened with some of the upper air data.

It is the same as one of the default planetary maps but was processed in Photoshop to shift the contrasts around.

We looked at fixing BUFR and the problem is the specification is enormously (ridiculously) complicated, so it can't be built natively into Digital Atmosphere. Also when I started looking around I was having trouble finding the BUFR data itself, since it is binary. So not many datastreams choose to ...
