Support for HTTPS almost completed
Currently we have the code in place that adds support for HTTPS (secure http over SSL/TLS). Testing was completed over the past week, and I'm about to begin coding it into Digital Atmosphere. This replaces a 20-year old code base that was used for retrieving Internet data. If things go as expected w...

Re: Digital Atmosphere using pre-2001 Wind Chill Formula
Looking around at the current formulas, it does look like we need to update it. Here is the formula we have been using so far. I will make some changes to add the new index and allow access to the old formula for those that want to use it. _____________________________________________ function windc...

At the current time it is technically possible to view the data on the NWS server using a browser, download the files to disk, and import them in Digital Atmosphere....

A fix for https:// (SSL/TLS) data URLs the absolute highest priority right now, and my goal is to have the next update include this support. I have already subcontracted out this wor...

Taking a quick look at a font comparison, it looks the same. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place for the changes?

Re: Data Plot Crowding
I didn't know there was a request for this, but unfortunately I don't get into the scripting forums much. The capability has been added and will take effect with V3.10b. __________________________________________________________________________________ Added DENSITY scripting command. This controls ...

Re: Alternate wx font - much larger wx symbols - file now li
Thanks, I'll give it a try. The original font I developed back in 2003, but since I'm not a font expert I passed it on to a typeface designer from Rentacoder to fix it up. They did a decent job but I guess you get what you pay for.. improving the font has been on the to-do- list for some time. I'll ...
