Convective Outlook plotting issue

After plotting numerous convective outlooks over the past few days, I've noticed DAWS tends to skip points where the station callsign begins with a number instead of a letter (such as "9V9" or "7R4"). The result is often missing line segments of the outlook. I verified that those...

Feature suggestion

I like the look of the new sounding interface. I'd like to see the inclusion of a scalable wind hodograph and a parameter field for 0-1 km storm relative helicity. Precipitable water and the wet bulb zero height are also parameters I use often.

This station still needs to be updated in the official station listing. The May 20th update did not include this.

v1.0f Color & line weight of shapefile lines

Is it possible to change the color and line weight of the shapefile outlines? Currently, it looks like they all plot blue (RGB 0,0,255) with a line weight of 2. I don't see a listing in preferences for changing this.

For U.S. Convective Outlooks, you can change the line color, line weight, line style and label font.

File > Preferences > Styles (tab) > select the style you want to alter

The convective outlook preferences should be at the bottom of each style list.

Station correction: KCMH

I just discovered that the Longitude for station KCMH is incorrect. The current digatmos.stn file lists it as "83 52", when it should be "82 53". The incorrect entry puts the station very near Dayton, Ohio. Also, the current elevation is listed as "254", but the correct...

I tried "cont cint=.04 altr h850" and got a rather tight (unreadable) contour map of the 850 level. Change that contour interval from .04 to a whole number. A general standard interval for 925, 850 and 700 mb height field analysis is usually 30 decameters (DM). So, you could use 30 for th...

I've noticed that saving to a GIF will often darken the colors on the workchart.

Conflicting entry in DAWS station file: KOAX

When I was trying to plot a map centered on station KOAX (Omaha area radar), I noticed that the program plotted a map centered in southern Mexico. Upon investigating the digatmos.stn file, I found a conflicting entry for the now obsolete Mexican station. The station is listed as WMO 76775 for Oaxaca...
