I re-installed the new V1.1h patch and got the same error. Here is the last three things in the status box: GENERATE: Drawing vector map (5)...

I still get the error message. It posts the message and after I OK it , the mouse cursor indicates an hour glass, which, I would guess, indicates it is still trying to work?

I just tried using Metar,LFRA for Paris, Orly and got a good map of Europe.

Has anyone run into a Range check error when trying to generate; Europe, Northern Europe, Central Europe, or Southern Europe?

Mark, If you haven't already, try Adobe Reader 7.0 free download at :http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html,it woks fine. The manual is about 150 pages, but contains several blank pages for notes.

Sometime ago I asked if you were going to tie DA into CYCLONE\AURORA,or activate the EMWIN directory.

In Generate a Base Map,By location preset, for Europe, North, South and Central I got the following message: DA encountered an error: Range Check Error. The map draw stops there and won't finish latitude and longitude draws.
