Re: Scheduler cannot find scripts after shutdown

Many thanks Budgie for that idea.
I'll give it a try and see if it helps.
Bit of a pain but worth it, if it works !!

Scheduler cannot find scripts after shutdown

HI, we often get power cuts here in North Cyprus causing my Windows7 computer to shut down when the UPS runs out of power. When the power returns, Digital Atmosphere starts up automatically BUT the scheduler fails to find the script to be run at the next scheduled time. If I manually use Run, (under...

Hi Maarten,
thanks for your reply - I haven't tried Wine yet - still on a steep learning curve with Linux, Gentoo distribution!
Have you found it pretty stable for running programs that haven't yet been ported to Linux?? Any pitfalls to watch out for??
Thanks again for the suggestion,
Nigel

DA on Linux

Hi folks,
I've been out of touch for a while - is there or will there be a version of Digital Atmosphere that can run on a Linux (Gentoo) computer?? Do hope so!
thanks for any update

Upload problems

Hi, I am using DAWS v1.1i regularly and, generally, it is doing a good job running scripts to produce and upload charts to my web site. A great progam. However, I am finding that if my internet connection is very busy or has disconnected, uploading appears to go ahead but, in fact, it fails. Is ther...

using time/date Tokens and SET

Hi, I am currently using the date and time tokens (@MMZ@DDZ@HHZ@NNZ) in a script, as part of the file names. I am firstly saving these files in a local directory and then uploading them to a web site. Then do the same for a different chart. So far I haven't seen any problems using this method but ju...

Hi Chris,
many thanks for the help. Have tried it out and it works just fine.
I had forgotten about putting the QUIT command at the end of the script!!
