Re: Are we waiting too long?
All... I don't want to sound like a prod here, but should'nt their be some update available for DAE? I've been real patient here for what years now, and still nothing despite being told that an update is in the works. Now don't get me wrong here, I fully realize and understand that programming is ha...

All... To plot sea surface temperature contours and such, do I need to take in which data type: Metar or Synoptic? I had this working just last night, and everything plotted. Now earlier this morning, the color contours did not plot, but the buoy surface data did. Is there certain times when ocean ...

Re: SST info
Hey Pete...
I've copied your script into DAE, and will run it once I have a transparent chart made.
While I don't have Paint Shop Pro, I do have Ultimate Paint and ImageForg. I will see about
this Adobe Paint thing, and use it for this chart.
Anywho, take care and thanx again.
Randy

Sea surface temperature
Hey guys, and gals... I am attempting to do a colorfulled sea surface temperature script, but I am not sure of two things. Those being: 1..What data source to use for plotting sst's, and, 2..Where to come up with a usable chart for making this work. Currently, the script not only plots the contours ...

Re: Updates for DAE
Hey Jon... Hope this finds you well. Tim assured me awhile back that he will be working on what appears to be a major update. He could not give any details, but word is that it will be well worth the wait. Tim fully realizes it's been a long time since any updates, and I'm sure he will get something...

Re: radar, again!
Hi Ross: I did as you suggested, and now it plots everything black, even the scale shows all levels black. Here is what I did: # SCHEME NUMBERS # # SCHEME=001 Winterscheme # SCHEME=006 Awips # # Nexrad product codes: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/tg/radfiles.html # # Set RRGGBB ------ to force color to no...

Re: radar
Hi again Ross:
Thanks for your input. I did not realize there were differences either. I think I'll just use your wisdom and try to get this to work. I hope!!!
Thanks,
Randy

Re: radar
Hi Ross:
Thanks for the reply. Can you send me a snippet of what you mean? I think I know what you could mean, but need clarification. Then, how would I use those colors for when the radar is in precipitation mode? My backround color is black, by the way.
Thanks,
Randy
