Board update
Effective April 12, 2021, we had to delete about 8000 frivolous spammer accounts going back over a year. There was no way for us to locate all legitimate user applications, so some may have been deleted. If you are an actual user who created an account since March 2020 but did not get approved, please register again. You can also contact us via the Contact link on the main Weather Graphics webpage to get assistance. When you contact us, it is essential you provide brief but detailed info on your meteorological background or inform us of any previous order you've made, this way we can tell you are a legit user, otherwise we will assume it is a spammer trying to bypass the application checks. Thanks. -Tim

potential temperature
How would I produce a chart of the pressure for a given potential temperature. When I do pressure (isentropic) for an isentropic surface (310K for example), I get a value of 1228299.4 at LCH. A skew-t for the exact time tells me the 600mb level has a theta of 310K. Am I doing something wrong? I am m...

Retrieve historical data
I am trying to retrieve some historical data. I know hoe to get current time tokens with the file names like ".../@Y@M@D@X_upa.wmo." What I want to do is to get time tokens of the previous day (e.g. D-1). Is there anyway to assign a variable to some thing like V1=D-1, then have a file name...

Hurricane tracks/models
Anybody else having trouble loading hurricane tracks and mode forecasts. It looks to me like NHC has changed the format of the postings, and DA does not read it any more. If ai am mistaken, I would appreciate any guidance.

New Computer
I'm starting off with a new computer. I bought Pro over 3 years ago (before fusion or equinox) and it came with a CD. To get Equinox on my new computer should I start by loading my old CD or should I download from the Web? I don't know if I have the key number any more. How will I get a key number?

Spring Has Sprung?
I'm a meteorlogist that has been practicing air pollution stuff for about 30 years and am just now getting back into forecasting. I have forgotten most of what I learned back in the 70's. So I am looking for wisdom from you guys whose skills are well honned. I have been really spending some time on ...

Colors: rgb parameters
To date I have been using trial and error to figure out the colors based on the rgb in DAWS. This is a fools errand since there are over 16,000,000 combinations of colors. Yesterday I decided to figure out another way and I found a web site that shows colors and gives the rgb paramters. This has hel...
