I don't believe there is a specific command in DA to archive data. I have had success, however, with selecting "view raw data" from the "file" dropdown menu. A separate window will open with the raw data in it. Click inside the window and use Ctrl-A to select all (it will highlig...

My suspicion is that you are stuck with the incredibly long directory path names. I've been running DA Equinox 1.40d under Vista with no problems, however, exporting data and charts directly into C:\Program Files\DigAtmEquinox\ ... etc. Under program properties (compatibility tab) I checked the box ...

I don't think you can set data point crowding via a script. "plf" is the standard data plot product code, and there does not seem to be a parameter that controls density. The format I use in my scripts is "product,plf,tmf,0,plot", which basically tells the program to plot ("...

Vista has an user account control (UAC) feature that is supposed to increase security and OS prevent breaches. It forces local user accounts with admin privileges to act like non-admin accounts when moving data around in certain protected directories, e.g Program Files. UAC can be very useful if som...

I would appear to have a similar problem, probably due to a change in email since purchase. I'm now at lanza-atty@comcast.net. I also just sent a message via the contact page.

Thanks in advance,

What did the old format look like? If it's not too different we could simply modify the raw data so that it matches the old format.

Best Data Sources?

DA offers a lot of sources for downloading data - Albany, FSU, Tech, etc. etc. but my question to users is, which of the various sites that are available have you found to have the most accurate and/or complete and/or up to date METAR, SYNOP, radiosonde, buoy, etc. data? I generally use Albany mysel...

This is interesting. I've never tried it. After you tried to convert to BBXX, into what file did you place the converted data and how did you try to import it into DA? Also, from where are you getting your HDOB and/or RECCO data? It would be great if someone could find a away to import more hurrican...

I can get the official forecast track to plot, and the UKMET and GFDL models to plot, but none of the other models plot. I do not know if the NHC changed the data format, or if one of the DA patches is the source of the problem. I do know that the data downloads because I've examined the file. I am ...

Problems Getting Hurricane Model Plots to Display

After downloading the model data from the NHC, when I selected Data --> Hurricane tracking --> Model output (NHC/GFDL/UKMET) only the GFDL and UKMET display, and I had to edit the Data Retrieval Window to supply the new web address for the UKMET global model data before that one would display. I hav...
