Re: Model forecast in DA

If you have a scroll through the Scripting Lab section of the forum then you may well find the scripts, including the downloads to use, already made for you. If not then some may have something that'll be of use.

Re: Order?

Hi Aernoud, Tim hasn't been on the forum for a year now so I'm not sure what the situation is with the books. I think I would give it another week, if PayPal will allow that, and if you've still not heard anything then look at cancelling. One thing to remember is that Tim is in the U.S. and it takes...

Re: SCRIPT - Celcius Temp Colour Plot

Congrats on your first script, looks good. I think you may have to play with temps lower than -16°C though and maybe take the highs up to about 40°C to cover the summer period. ;-) The minus figures for °C have been a problem to plot in the past but looks like you've done it OK on this one.

Re: Upload question

If it's of any use, I have Weather Display do the uploads of all six charts I use.
I can run through that process if you also use WD?

Re: Incorrect Time Stamps

There's a similar thread about this here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1607
See if anything in there helps.

And welcome to the DA forum.

Re: SCRIPT - Jetstream - 250, 500 & 850 levels

The overlay.png just has my website details on it, a logo and the web address. So you don't really need that unless you want to include the same thing for your own website. They are easy to create in something like Photoshop, Gimp or Paint.NET; Just create a blank, transparent image that's the same ...

Re: Importing data from url by script

The "ingest" is telling the script to use all the of the above .wmo data files that I've just downloaded. The REMOVE command is clearing any maps that are on the screen as my full script used three different maps during the run. So I REMOVE the map, ERASE the data and then LOAD the ne_atlantic map b...

Re: Importing data from url by script

"ERASE" is always enough on my scripts but I don't store the data in date/time stamped files as you do. Here's the download part of my main script: REMOVE ERASE LOAD,C:\Users\weather\AppData\DigitalAtmosphere\ne_atlantic.dmf download,http://weather.admin.niu.edu/data/@Y@M@D@H.sao,C:\Users\weather\Ap...
