Re: New RAOB Videos

As the RAOB videos are being developed, if anyone has a special request for a video for a particular RAOB feature or function, just let me know and I'll bump up the priority for that subject.

Re: RAOB "Demo" Error

I am glad to see all the interest in the RAOB Demo program. And as always, the "current" Demo works just fine. The "current" RAOB Demo can always be found here > http://raob.com/raobdemo.php Please note that those who experienced problems with the Demo have been using "old" and "outdated" demo files...

New RAOB Videos

In response to requests for interactive training materials, I am creating high-definition videos to demonstrate RAOB's capabilities. There will eventually be over 100 videos which will be completed this year. In the meantime, this link already provides many of the basic videos > http://www.raob.com/...

The RAOB Demo link has changed and is now here > http://raob.com/raobdemo.php And remember, the Demo file changes monthly in order to reflect recent software updates. Also note that the Demos expire after 30 days. In case the Demo link again changes in the future, you can always find the Demo link f...

Re: European indecies in RAOB

The RAOB Program produces these 3 European thunderstorm indices: Boyden, KO-Index, and the S-Index. The RAOB Program also produces these 3 Fog indices specifically developed for Europe: Fog Stability Index (FSI), Fog Threat, and Fog Point. And there is now a new Fog Table capability, where you can a...

Re: Skew T Script

Re: Plot Soundings With DA

I can not answer your question about plotting soundings with DA, but I do know that the RAOB Program has several options which many users like, including scripts. While the RAOB website provides several diagram examples, the new RAOB Video page (which is under development) offers interactive views o...

Re: Lionair B737 Undershoot RW09 Bali 13 April 2013

I agree that it looks like a microburst. I could not locate a temperature profile for that time & location. I could only find PIBAL (wind) data. But if anyone has a complete profile, I'll run a sounding.
