Board update
Effective April 12, 2021, we had to delete about 8000 frivolous spammer accounts going back over a year. There was no way for us to locate all legitimate user applications, so some may have been deleted. If you are an actual user who created an account since March 2020 but did not get approved, please register again. You can also contact us via the Contact link on the main Weather Graphics webpage to get assistance. When you contact us, it is essential you provide brief but detailed info on your meteorological background or inform us of any previous order you've made, this way we can tell you are a legit user, otherwise we will assume it is a spammer trying to bypass the application checks. Thanks. -Tim

I didn't really notice anything... like you said, the problem has probably already cleared up.

Maybe it was just a temporary problem with the data feed??

Jason,

This is a basic program for downloading/viewing satellite imagery from the NASA site:

http://www.nexrad3.com/GhccSat.html

It is free and written by Mike Bryson. Might be worth a look..

I don't think it is grabbing it four times. Each section amounts to a different weather element observation. Wind, temperatures, etc.

Thanks for dissecting the link for us, Wally!

Are you sure that last link doesn't work all on it's own?

I just clicked on it in firefox and it brought up a couple hundred obs, so it must be a subset:)

I already brought it up with Tim several weeks or so ago. He said he would have to work in some support for it.
