Peter, You need to import an overlay, the same size as the map. Create the overlay in paintshop pro or something, make the background transparent. Add your logo in the corner of this overlay image and save. Then in the script, just import the overlay image once the ingest and plotting has completed,...

I haven`t used Digital Atmosphere to ingest grib for a few years now. It was too problematic even back then, only being able to use the very small grib datasets which contained a few parameters. Anything bigger than around 2mb would freeze the software and crash it. The old grid 211 datasets would i...

I did have one (barbs can easily be added) http://weathergraphics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1147&sid=c73179737bbe9573fd60b0c7321071fa However, I have lost all my daws scripts. I haven`t used the software in some time for various reasons. If I can find the spare time I`ll write one up tomorrow. I...

I think this will be my last post here. I`ve given up on this product. Shame because it had good potential, but to be honest even free open source projects get some kind support. I read on here somewhere that Tim will no longer be posting on these forums? Well I`m sorry if this upsets anyone, but th...

I think Tim has lost interest in the whole project. He rarely comes on here anymore and emails take weeks to be answered, if at all. He finds time to write books and post on storm chasing forums, but won`t keep us paying customers in the loop. I`m rapidly losing interest in this software, which is u...

Not sure!

Just give it a try. I believe there is still a thirty day trial which should be plenty of `playing around` time.

The older DAWS versions used to run ok on windows 98se. but there was a nagging memory issue which was resolved in Equinox.

Maybe he`s busy writing another book! I hate to say this, but if you pay for a service, don`t you expect some level of support? I mean, we`re all helping each other out around here, but that`s not exactly the same thing! Seems like we are left to deal with it ourselves. I used to email him and get a...

Feel free to ship some up this way.

I haven`t had a good indian curry since I left England almost seven years ago :(

A healthy supply of toilet paper is always recommended after a curry

Automation

Just wondering if anyone has got WinGridds running by means of the automated features?

What kind of successes you`ve had and any issues on the way :)

I took a break from WinGridds and computers in general for a few months. Looking to get back into it, and of course see what I`ve missed!
