Re: any chance for an update on DAWS?

All - I was just wondering if the beta testing of DA WS is almost finished, so the final release can be fourthcoming. With the holidays almost here, and nearly everyone on hold for 2-3 years waiting for this release, while Tim writes more books is becoming quite old. I, myself, don't know how much m...

Re: Data files

Hi Jeff: Well, I'm beginning to see how this all works, and in the process, ran into another problem. I did not realize that the data files are saved onto my hard drive, and those files are huge!! :o This will be a problem since my hard drive does not have much free space on it. Then, I still can't ...

Re: WINGRIDDS

Hi Jeff: Thanks for your warm welcome! I'm trying to download the GFS, NAM, and EC models from the NWSTG servers. I'm usually trying to get the time hour step which is fastest to download and I'm using high speed cable to download. I guess the time hour step thing confuses me some, as I am not sure ...

Re: Wingridds beta 1.2

Hello: I've recently downloaded this program (WINGRIDS) and it appears to be a great program! However, it seems that when I download the data, it takes forever to load (I run a pentium 4 with windows XP), so it should not take too long to get I would think. Anyway, I ran it yesterday morning, so I c...

Re: maps

Hi Bob: I need you to do me two favors, if you can. First I was wondering if you could design me a custom logo for my charts. Second, since I don't have photoshop, could you create a couple basemaps with the sea area transparent for me? You can then contact me offlist for more details and such. My ...

Very nice Bob. Do you have the script for this?

Re: your new script

Hey Pat:

I've got to hand it to you for coming up with some great scripts! My only question is how to add the legend to the finished map. I'd also like to create a logo to add with a script for my charts. Any thoughts?

Again, great work my man!!!

Thanks, it works great! Do you know how to create a 0-6 km mean wind script? I'd like to get one soon.
