Updated station file for DAWS
Here is an updated station file. It contains new stations and newly updated IDs and completed data for Boone NC. The new station tables raw file had a slight format change, so only use this with DAWS. Back up your digatmos.stn file first. Then put in main folder. RECOMPILE TABLES as found in FILE me...

Confirmed .... When I edited the buoy report from the non-plotting: 42036 02131 99285 70845 46/// /3204 10180 20094 40158 53017 91250 22200 00195 10501 20401 329// 40501 70007 333 91206 555 11046 22048 31232 43007 61249 316045 311051 315041 320044 316048 318047= down like this, (to format/size of bu...

Okay, on buoys... It seem that the longer reports don't plot. Example: 42036 02131 99285 70845 46/// /3204 10180 20094 40158 53017 91250 22200 00195 10501 20401 329// 40501 70007 333 91206 555 11046 22048 31232 43007 61249 316045 311051 315041 320044 316048 318047= While shorter reports do. Example:...

I've actually seen this happen with the older DA.
See an example here:

Sorry the state lines are 1 pixel thick, but if you look you can see the double mapping offset.

Version 1.0e Buoy plotting is not happening for the large part. A few are, but ... look at the comparison pics here... (same data/time from Albany, buoys only, DA and DAWS) http://www.weatherroanoke.com/DAbuoys.gif http://www.weatherroanoke.com/DAWSbuoys.gif They are important for good analysis near...

Version 1.0e Scripts that involve data retrieval still hang up. That is, the retrieval window just doesn't go away, and the script stops there. Script data retrieval is fairly important. Now that I think about it, and after having looked closer at the truetype font , I'm not as convinced that scalin...

Oh yes, a scalable on the wx symbols would be nice. Now ... if map is black (land), then radar just is masked out by the black. It doesn't come through like it does on light colors. Any chance the nexrad colors could be electable to be absolute? See http://www.weatherroanoke.com/testmap.gif Thanks f...

Here's a crop of old and new depictions of wx symbols. Yeah, I knew you went to truetype. But that may be at quite a price if the wx symbols are forced to be that small or, cannot be independently sized (from rest of plot). I don't know how to include a pic here, so URL to http://www.weatherroanoke....
