meteo.ttf is WeatherSymbols
You are correct and if you view the symbols contained within meteo.ttf (Weather symbols font) you can see why we do not have cloud and pressure tendency symbols, because they are not included in the font. In XP: Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map Open Character Map and...

Font Problems
Further to my post below: Using NMC/NCEP raster results in showing Pressure Tendency as stated in your previous discussions. http://www.weathergraphics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1461 My post was more concerned with the fact when DA is uninstalled and reinstalled the TrueType font should not be dele...

Font Problems
As far as I am aware, Pressure Tendency symbols are not in meteo.ttf, well I can't see them in my copy. Therefore DA cannot display any symbol from the font, if that symbol isn't there. The originator of this thread was continuing a long time discussion where no symbols at all are shown. I have symb...

Fonts issue
You will only see the weather symbols contained with the TrueType font. There are no pressure tendency symbols as far as I am aware within meteo.ttf. Many people who have the problem do not see any symbols, by that I mean they do not see cloud or weather condition symbols. Some stations do not inclu...

Fonts problem
Dave, I might be talking nonsense here as I am not a computer whiz kid but I 'installed' the meteo.ttf and didn't copy it into the Windows\Fonts. I think what might be happening is when you uninstall DA the font is associated with DA therefore during uninstall, it removes the font from the \fonts fo...

My initial comments below are incorrect for DA 2.06. Using DA 2.04 I couldn't edit the analysis script while DA was open but using DA 2.06 I find I can edit with DA running. Regarding Station Tables: you can select the new .CSV file or the old .STN file and use whichever one you prefer. Regards

Using the Analysis - Edit Analysis Scripts.. This allows viewing of the .mnu script and does not work for saving the file. Viewing the file, you can change it but not save it because DA is open and has 'protected' the file from changes while it is in use by DA. Therefore to change the file it is nec...

Fonts problem
This might sound like a stupid question but you say you 'copy the fonts back into the fonts folder'. Fonts need to be installed and not copied. Can you verify the TrueType meteo font was installed into your Windows\Fonts and not simply copied? I have never had an issue with this on 3 computers where...

DA 2.05 is available and it addesses many issues I had issues with 2.04 not running a download script and other problems but Tim has addressed those in ver 2.05 available last night. But I have an issue with 2.05 which Tim is now aware. Tim is aware of many of our issues and trying to sort them out ...

Cloud Base script
I put this in the wrong section so here it is in the Scripting section where it belongs - sorry. Sometime ago a request was made for a script for plotting cloud base using the following formula: Cloud Base ft = ((Temp - Dew point) / 4.4) * 1000 The script is as below: #Cloud Base script FEET #CB fee...
