300mb wind barbs

Is there a way to reduce the wind barbs in the 300mb analysis? I am getting so many that the image is cluttered.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply Bob. I download SAO's hourly and it is those that stay in the data files unless I manually clear ALL folders. Guess the pesky fronts are a holdover from DA 2000.

Thanks again.

Old Data

Has anyone else had a problem with old data. After several downloads, my data is 6 hours or more old and the fronts generate garbage. I am running the DAWS Proffessional v1.1h on a P4 machine using Windows 2000. Thanks

Newbie question. How do you set up your display to show white background, etc. Thanks

I do not think so. Tim has released the final version and is off doing other stuff so I am guessing the Beta program is done.

If I read Tim's statement correctly, he is done with DAWS for the time being and is working on a book.

God forbid on the last one Peter, but as I have learned (the hard way) without Tim, and no key, it becomes a donation into oblivion.

P.S. I have learned to live with the problem with fronts in DA2000 by going to the Albany site, and copying the txt file then pasting into Queue.frt folder in the DA2000 program files. Script files did not work either.Sounds like a problem that will be a bug in DAWS as well.

Watch the dates on the Purdue site as it is erratic. Ben said something about changing servers in the future.
