Hi Ben,
I think the problem is this:
If the zoom in/out buttons are clicked quickly giving DAWS no time to draw in state borders, coastlines, etc. on a certain map, it will keep trying to draw those on the next map. It's very annoying!
Regards,
Marc

Another Map-related Bug
Hi Tim, I've been experiencing one other map-related bug in version 1.0d. Here's what happens: There seems to be a problem with the zoom-in and zoom-out buttons on occasion. I zoomed in twice on a map of the western US to get a map of northern CA, western NV, and extreme southern OR. When I tried to...

Hi Tim, Sure, here's what happens: First of all, I'm running Windows ME. I boot DAWS, plot anything or any number of things on the map, and then when I try to clear the map to plot other data, I just get the white square at the top left corner of the map. I have to generate a new basemap to get a bl...

Another couple of bugs
Hi Tim, After I wrote my previous comment, I plotted rawinsonde observations at the 250 MB level on a base map of much of North America and clicked Analysis>pressure>balanced height field (m). The following chart was the result: http://members.aol.com/MarcVIIII/cws/img19.gif As you can see, DAWS plo...

Observations about DAWS
Hi Tim, First of all, this is a great program! Almost all the data you could want is accessible in this one place. Here are some problems and observations with DAWS 1.0c: At times, DAWS will come up with a range check error or other errors after data has been retrieved and it finishes decoding the d...

Hi Tim, I checked both things you mentioned, and here are the results: First of all, I am running Windows ME. I do have Courier New font. I went into the SYSTEM32 folder, and discovered that I didn't have anything entitled: riched32.dll, so I did a quick google search and downloaded this file (it wa...
