Need to automate retreival of file from satellite website
I know that wild cards can be used to accomplish this as shown in my current command below, but I'm wondering if there's a way to have the download command (or something else) look at the following URL for example and get whatever the latest file is that starts with LATEST - there's always only one ...

Download and Inget script help needed
Below is the download and ingest script I'm working on. It runs without errors, but no frontal data will plot or analyze and I don't get the SPC day1 and 2 outlooks. I'm thinking the problem is in my use of INGEST commands or the URL format....so a couple questions as the docs are not too clear (sti...

Planetary Maps
Has anyone had a good sucess with Planetary Maps? The documentation is sparse on how to go about it....basically lists about 4-6 URLs and the details of what is on the menu....
I'm hoping to get planetary maps for the US area working.
Has any one done this or can provide any hints??
Thanks,

Creating Satellite images for other locations
I was able to easily create and use the predefined locations from Tim here for putting satellite images on DA maps....my question now is (actually 3): 1) Can/Has anyone giveme the setup for the entire US? Is is possible? 2) Failing #1, has/can anyone give me regions of the US (ie NW, SW, NC, SC, NE,...

Data items to retrieve to get a constant complete data set
I'm runing DA here and am extremely happy with the program. I'm starting to get more into the automation and scripting aspect of the software to allow it to do alot of the routine tasks I've been doing. One of these is the retreival of data tems and ingesting. I'm familiar with how to get items and ...

Scripts
Les: Really anything you have would help me out, I'm trying to learn scripting and the more different stuff I look at the better for me to learn and think of new things to do. I don't mind the color fills at all, they look great, but printing out on a B&W laser doesn't work too well, hence he ne...
