Unfortunately no; the scripting is not robust enough for this. It will take another version update to fix this.

Re: NWS ASUS Bulletin

Can anyone tell me what the trick is to plotting the ASUS frontal bulletin with DA. The problem is that NCEP several months ago changed the header from ASUS1 KWBC to ASUS01 KWBC, which disabled the ability to plot fronts. This can be solved if you can somehow edit the bulletin to make the change ab...

Re: Plotting synops

I'm assuming this includes contour line colors? When I change the contour color for surface pressure from the default light gray to another color, it will still plot it in gray. It is supposed to work from the Preferences > Styles panel, but hasn't been thoroughly checked out yet. I'll take another...

We will try to do a Pro version of DA-Linux, and if offered it will be available for the difference in price (from either Std Win or Std Linux). You can of course wait and see what the Windows Pro version will offer.

Re: DA upgrade

It's now been 6 months since I bought my copy of DA and I was wondering if you were still going to honor what was mentioned in the announcement. Everything is up in the air right now -- the only thing I can be sure of is that no user will be dinged for buying 6 months before the final release date....

Good idea from vawxman99. And please be sure to E-mail me about these missing stations... or post them! I'll create a special forum where you & others can mention them so that they get incorporated into future releases.

No, they're totally different programs that have different foundations, algorithms, and data structures. There is no way this could be done.

Re: Plotting synops

I cannot adjust the fonts using preferences. I presume this hasn't yet been activated. The Preferences > Fonts panel no longer functions and will be removed from the next version. This has been overridden by Preferences > Styles. You can change the font there, or direct-edit the style file to set a...

Digital Atmosphere trick: Giant weather maps

The new Digital Atmosphere test version is well-suited to making giant printout charts. To get started, here's how: Simply download the style file http://216.71.158.243/dl/analysis.sty and save to your Digital Atmosphere \styles subdirectory. Be careful saving it from Internet Explorer, as it is rea...

Thanks. We haven't had any pre-orders yet, so I expect it may be awhile before a Unix version is available. If someone ponies up cash for 15 registrations, however, I don't see a problem with it being released right away.
