Might have been posted at one time in the forum, I haven't a clue to be honest. To be honest I don't recall ever having any trouble printing, but it is obviously a problem people run into from time to time:) You can find the FAQ section on the weathergraphics mainpage.. http://www.weathergraphics.co...

The dmf file is created along with the bmp when you save the basemap. Look at this thread: http://weathergraphics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1022 Quite a few image links and settings are included in the thread. There are also a couple of other downloads gkasica has available - you may want to pm him ...

From FAQs: When I attempt to print a chart I get a totally black page. But I was able to export to a file then print the file. The problem is with the Windows layers handling printing, however this is rarely reported. Digital Atmosphere basically just sends it the image and it's the driver's job to ...

George Kasica done up a bunch of basemaps and made them available on his site: http://saturn.netwrx1.com/DAWS/Basemaps-and-Scripts/ You'll need both the *.dmf and the *bmp files. The first part of the file's name will be indentical. Edit I believe George created these in DA WS, so it would be wise t...

Hi Dave,

I know I seen a NOAA Modis image for just the UK on the net not that long ago. I guess I should have bookmarked it..

The Dundee stuff is useless in DA WS, unfortunately. Matbe the wetherchart one will fit OK - haven't looked at anything from that site.

Yes, let us know if the text case makes any difference. I always keep text in either upper or lower when naming a file. Upper and lower are, however, good seperators when writing code lines to make a name more obvious. Would be interesting if wxforecaster's suggestion is indeed causing your error. Pat

Unless something is screwy with you connection at the moment, the download links are working well. What link did you try that produced a "return page" file not found error? If something is wrong in some areas Tim might want to know about it.

Mercator is a type of map projection.

I suppose it would help if I knew exactly what types of images you want to use as a basemap. Maybe we will be able to find one that'll fit, although getting projections to match exactly is often kinda tough.
