Exported charts as .gif render colors a bit differently than on screen or if saved as .bmp That is, the bitmap exports do the color pallete exactly, while with gif exported charts the color pallete is modified or corrupted somehow. Can the gif exports be fixed to be as accurate as the bitmaps? And ...

Radar question

First time I`ve actually got around to playing with radar on DAWS, so I`m very green at the moment with it! Is DAWS limited to how many stations can be processed at once? I found that anymore than four stations and DAWS just shuts down (with no errors). FWIW, I`m using the trial ~ yes still!!! I was...

Maybe one of the image manip plugins would do the trick. I`m 95% sure my hosts have Image Magick installed, or GD Image. Now I just have to go figure how to use them!!!

Exporting chart problem

Don`t know whether this is so much a problem/bug, but was hoping someone maybe able to offere suggestions. I`m currently using the excellent colour fill script by Teksy, however I`ve noticed that exporting the charts in gif format makes the charts look poor. The only way I can get the charts to look...

This forum

No one else seems to mention it! I always seem to have login problems with this forum. Sometimes I will need to login several times before I can post anything. Then when I log out, it confirms that. I come back later to find I am logged back in again. I never have this trouble on other phpBB boards....

Thanks Bob, I tried exporting them in the three main formats. .gif showed those colour oddities, .jpg wasn`t as bad but there is a loss of quality as expected, .bmp was better but that threw out a map of 1.5mb  Maybe something that can convert that .bmp to .gif before ftp`ing to my site. It i...

These colour gradient maps, what format should I be exporting them as? I have been saving them as gif files, however I`ve noticed that the colours start looking a bit odd as soon as the map is exported. They plot fine in DAWS but once exported they show strange markings, particularly along the isoth...

Cannot find file error

I`ve just installed the latest patch on the homepage. I`m now getting the following error when opening DAWS (I`m running the evaluation version of DAWS).....

Cannot open file digatmos.ur0

Cancelling the error box, DAWS will then work fine.
