Hi Wally,
PATQ in Atqasuk Burnell, Alaska should be at 70.467N, 157.433W (-157.433).
The csv file worked! Thanks!

-99.99 plots
Is there any way to filter out stations that want to plot at -99.99 longitude? I find that these are stations that the program is not reading properly. The result is a number of stations that have temperatures of, say, -65C, or winds from, say, 650 degrees at 90 knots...this results in bullseyes of ...

Pete...when you go to the create map part of the program, and ask it to make a map centered on , say, KRYW or K0F2 (new id's), does your program recognize these id's? Mine says it doesn't recognize the id's even though when I look at the new file from Wally Mayo of updated id's in wordpad, the stati...

problems here...
Pete and Sean: I've downloaded the updated files (using the custom import option) into v2.06. When I try to generate a map centered with one of the new id's (KRYW, for example), digatmos cannot find the station. Yet, when I open the new digatmos.stn file, KRYW is there. Sean: when you try to generat...

Hi Don, Tim wrote that this would be corrected in a new version that will be released soon. I simply do a quality control box on that part of the gulf before doing a contour, and delete the station. It is actually one of two Moosonee, Ontario stations (the other is CYMO). CXZC was inadvertantly assi...

figured it out
The analysis tab has an option to edit analysis scripts. If program cannot save changes due to file not found, locate the file, and place it where 2.04 looks for it...this is the file indicated on the blue bar at the top of the page that comes up when editing the analysis script. Heatwave Anyone kno...

2.04 question
Quality control now works! I can't get my digatmos.mnu preferences to take in 2.04. I would like potential temps in intervals of 2C, for example, and with thin lines. 2.04 default is thick 1C lines. I want MSLP in 2mb vs default 2.04 4mb interval. How do I get my preferences to take? Heatwave Should...

In the data retrieval window, you can check one of the MADIS options. It takes awhile for that option to load, but it is a rather dense network of stations from a variety of platforms. The large file option seems to be better quality controled than the other MADIS option, but care must still be give...

In addition to the quality control freezing of the program problem, I just noticed that in the analysis option for wind, the moisture convergence function generates a field of 0's (zeroes) mapwide. I wondered if cressman was unique in this, but see that nearest neighbor also results in the same prob...
