SCRIPT - Surface Wind Colour Plot
Here's a script I put together this evening that seems to work quite well. It displays a colour plot of the current surface wind and you can see the results on this page: Surface Wind Charts The script is written for wind speed in MPH, if you want it to show m/s then just remove the "VMPH"...

Re: SCRIPT - Jetstream - 250, 500 & 850 levels
Hi Jean-Robert, This script works with the DA software to produce the maps, it's not like a PHP script for your website. If you've got Digital Atmosphere software then look at the left menu and you should see "Scripting", click on that and then click on "Create" to open a file. P...

Re: Autmoated Scripting help
If you have a look in this part of the forum there are examples of scripts that others use to create maps etc that you can copy into your own scripts and try out/use. Normally the threads containing example scripts will be titled "SCRIPT -" to make them easier to find. If there is somethin...

Re: Scheduler format?
I see where you're coming from now.
I've not tried that way of working as I normally just use DA's own editing & saving structure and if I need anything else then I use Notepad to work on the scripts and then copy & paste them into DA.
So I'm not much help on this one.

Re: Scheduler format?
Just setup the scheduler that's built in to DA and then use something like System Scheduler to open and close DA.
I set DA to open 2 minute before a run and then close about 10 minutes later. The 10 minutes is to allow for slow broadband speeds that occasionally occur.

Re: Remove numbers on isobars
Hi Gary, Welcome to DA. I'm not sure you can remove the numbers completely but what may work is to reduce the number of isobars on the screen by increasing the pressure setting between the lines. Look for "CINT=" in your pressure code, the number following this is the difference between ea...

Sadly, that's something only Tim can answer.
He's not been on the forum for a while but you could try emailing him through the website.
