Michael, I don't use Vista but have you tried running DA in 'compatibility' mode? To do that I think you select the .exe file, right click and in the Context Menu there's an option for compatibilty, so try XP. I have seen problems with other programmes and this solution works, sometimes. Not sure if...

Problems with Wind Vector Command
The function: VECT COLOR=0:0:200 WIND is in the Analysis - Wind - Wind Speed Vectors. They are to be found in the digatmos.MNU file. Typing the line VECT COLOR=0:0:200 WIND into the Scripting page - Analysis Command results in vectors being displayed. Therefore if using the Analysis pulldown menu, t...

You are a registered user and therefore when you downloaded DA 2.09 Pro I guess you downloaded via the website Pro download section. To do that you must have had a User Name and Passowrd issued by Tim. Therefore all that is necessary is for you to install the download file into your new computer. As...

Fleetcode download problems
I agree, and download Fleetcode everyday at 2100 GMT for the 1800 synoptic hour. Generally wait at least 2 hours after synoptic hour before trying to download Fleetcode as it isn't always available until 1-2 hours later. The script is fine and I use exactly the same syntax without problems. Regards ...

Fleetcode
Yes, in the UK they are on GMT of course so I download roughly a couple of hours after the synoptic hour, which is the GMT 6 hour intervals. In fact at the moment I am offshore Tanzania (GMT +3hrs) but that's another story. I run a 'retrieval' script for many data sets and included is fleetcode with...

Fleetcode download times
I download Fleetcode data at 2100 for the 1800 synoptic hour and rarely had a problem. So I guess if you wait a couple of hours after synoptic time you should be reasonably sure the data is available

Scheduler problems
The script I use are placed in the programme directory. Therefore: C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Local\DigitalAtmosphere\download.dsf In other words in the programme directory and by doing so I have never had problem. Try copying them into the above directory and on the scheduler in DA should be: 0010 do...
