Board update
Effective April 12, 2021, we had to delete about 8000 frivolous spammer accounts going back over a year. There was no way for us to locate all legitimate user applications, so some may have been deleted. If you are an actual user who created an account since March 2020 but did not get approved, please register again. You can also contact us via the Contact link on the main Weather Graphics webpage to get assistance. When you contact us, it is essential you provide brief but detailed info on your meteorological background or inform us of any previous order you've made, this way we can tell you are a legit user, otherwise we will assume it is a spammer trying to bypass the application checks. Thanks. -Tim

For BILL ... after you load up your map, then ...
download,http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/data/raw/wt ... \hurr2.dat
ingest,c:\DAdirectory\data\hurr2.dat
HURRICANE

sub your own location of file for c:\DAdirectory\data\hurr2.dat

It really should work.

MADIS function is captured by retrieve data configuration

This has been true for some time... If you do a MADIS "data get" in a script, when the script gets to that line it will just simply go to whatever box is selected in the retrieve data option in the menu, and get THAT data. It seems hooked together in a way that maybe it shouldn't. Workarou...

Text editing in scripts/text editor

Hey Tim, In 2.07: Something new and strange is happening in the editor (used for scripts): You can't cut and paste normally - somewhat debilitating... That is, once anything is pasted (Control v) then if you copy anything (control c), any further pasting will only paste entire contents of clipboard....

KJUA won't script with BR248 choice

Hey Tim, Finally running 2.07 through paces on new computer (VISTA). The script RADAR,BR248,KJUA Still will not run in a script, same as previous versions. It WILL run manually through the menus. It's the long range 248 option that will not work in script. BREF1 will work in all cases. Thanks for RA...

Vista directories for scripts, data

Ok ... another user pulling his hair out over VISTA: Unlike XP, Vista has put much of it's operational files in a folder in a folder called Application Data in a User folder. Does one have to enter the entire insanely long directory name to use that directory, or does Vista alias over from some main...
