Contour Interval and Label Overlaps

Post by vawxman99 »

Is there anyway in the new version to control the contour intervals. For example, I like to do a standard 4 mb pressure anal in the summer and 8 in the winter for chart displaying the entire U.S.. However, when I zoom in to a particular state I like to decrease the interval to 2 mb, and sometimes 1 mb for a finer anal.

Also, is there some way to prevent or minimize the contour label overlapping? It makes it difficult to read and unprofessional looking.

Thanks

Edit the digatmos.mnu file and use the CINT= command (see Help Appendix on graphics scripting).

Tim - great ability to be able to add custom analysis routines to the main analysis drop down menu. This really saves time doing some of our custom analysis.
