Adding Personal Logo to Map

Post by Peter Bartlett »

Hi,

Can anyone help, I want to add my own personal Logo to my weather maps similar to meteorolgica, I have generated a base map then exported it so that I can edit in Paintshop Pro, I have pasted my own logo to map then imported back into DA-Equinox. Each time DA Equinox draws contour lines etc then go over the Logo. Is there a way of adding a logo to maps so that the contour lines dont show over the Logo. As in the following example in the bottom left corner of this map. see link below

Peter,

You need to import an overlay, the same size as the map. Create the overlay in paintshop pro or something, make the background transparent. Add your logo in the corner of this overlay image and save. Then in the script, just import the overlay image once the ingest and plotting has completed, then export the whole thing.

Did that make sense?

Here`s the result
