Post subject:  Adding lines (points) to DA maps

Hi to anyone out there!

I'm after the help of anyone that's plotted any points as an overlay onto DA.

Having recently dicovered a shapefile that will add all adjacent islands to the UK and Europe (missing in DA) I have bravely attempted to put together a file that will overly the UK and surrounding waters with the UK Met office Shipping Forecast Areas.

These have plotted beautifully, and I have the option of copying the lines produced to any base map.

My only problem is that the sea areas will only plot in feint grey and try as I might, I can't find a way through 'styles' or any other means to edit the colour or line thinkness.

I have made the file (through Word) into a *.plt .

Does anyone have any suggestions? (polite ones!)

Many thanks in advance for any help that might be forthcoming.
Dave, UK.
