Hi Wally,

Just downloaded the Dec 4th update.

Can you check KRAS? KRAS is Port Aransas,TX, and is listed correctly in the data base. Unfortunately, there appears to be a Texas Tech mesonet station that the database has the same call for, and Port Aransas ends up getting plotted in the Texas Panhandle with resulting analysis bullseyes. It , of course, is easy for a person to go into the file and correct the problem, but thought you'd like to know.

Again, your work is greatly appreciated!

Many thanks for the update Wally, much appreciated as always.

One tweak with ICAO code OINK in Iran:
Gonbad Ghabus is 37.25 N 55.1 EAST with an elevation of 32.6 m.
as checked by:
from ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/noaa/isd-history.txt
http://weather.rap.ucar.edu/surface/stations.txt similar

On a trivial note:
El Aaiun ICAO codes GMML and GSAI (Spain)
Is 27 09 00 N 013 12 00 W elevation 63 m from the Spanish AIP.
It is also called Hassan I - not island but after Hassan I (1st or 1er in French) of Morocco.
Also called Aéroport international Laâyoune

All the best,
Ian

Hi Folks,

I have one problem.
When trying to read the new station table I get an error:
"Too many stations in station table. Can only hold 20000".
DA then crashes.

Has anyone seen this error?

Wow. No. Haven't seen that error.
You Are doing it as an import of the "default LIL" table?

Yes - and upper air data won't plot either.

Looks like my edit of the longitude for one location followed by a save didn't quite save properly for some reason - although it was a csv file.
I've re-re-done it and everything now appears to be OK. Interesting.

Hi Wally...

Just a heads up...KPTV in Portersville, CA also shows in the data base as a Virginia station, KEHR in Kentucky is also shown as the call for a Wyoming station.

I deleted those ID's for the incorrect spots in my copy of your identifiers.

Happy New Year, and thanks for all your work!

Wally...

I forgot...another station.

PAJC (Chignik Bay, AK) is in your data base with 66.32N 168.37W. It should be 56.32N 158.37W
