Only two months since last update, but they keep making additions:

KRCR Rochester IN (Fulton Co)
KLQK Pickens SC
KVAF Oil Platform-Boomvang TX
KCXP Carson City NV
K46D Carrington ND
KI75 Osceola IA
KAEJ Buena Vista CO
KBVU Boulder City NV
KTMA Tifton GA
K9A1 Covington GA

Because some of us use v1.22 for the hurricane season (until latest version has hurricane plotting working again), I've done a new update for that older version. Found at

http://www.weatherroanoke.com/digatmos.stn

The updated station file for v. 2x is at

http://www.weatherroanoke.com/location- ... r-list.csv

Right click (and paste) link if it doesn't work directly.

Backup previous file, in case you need to restore it.

As I've said before, these WILL NOT plot, unless you ingest this new table.

In the csv file Namsskogan is incorrectly listed at 64.72N -12.83 (W)
It apparently should be 64.73 N 12.85 E (64 44N 12 51E)
taken from ftp://ftp.wmo.int/wmo-ddbs/Pub9volA100906.flatfile
It's also incorrect in the new master list.

Okay, thanks. It's now correct in the current file online.
Things will be different with the new version as far as updating ... and it should be an improvement.

Thanks for all the work, Wally.

The next version of Digital Atmosphere will ingest the Master Location Identifier Database ( http://www.weathergraphics.com/identifiers ), which has existed for the past year in a "beta" version while being finalized. It is now being updated monthly and I have written scripts to update it from the latest FAA NFD, ICAO, and WMO listings. I will also write a program to export MLID to the older Digital Atmosphere format so that users who don't have the latest release will be able to benefit from the MLID project.

Hi Wally and folks,

Tim - I'm pleased to hear that the MILD will eventually be read by DA.

The MILD location is correct for 06208/AWG-1, but the location identifier list (csv file) has "-" in front of the longitude number which needs removing (it's actually near the Netherlands coast) east of Greenwich.

These two also appear to have the same problem.
06206/F16-A
06207/L9-FF-1

See this link for a map.

Cheers,
IanP.

Since our anticipated update is still in the wings, I have 3-4 months worth of new stations for you. The file below has all updates and stations.

Significant things are changing in the wx world, and I imagine that Tim will surprise us with the next step, and how it handles the changes.

Meanwhile, the link is the same as before, backup and replace this file in main directory, run compile, etc.

New stations:
KGWR Gwinner ND
KJFX Jasper AL
K08D Stanley ND
K33V Walden CO
K4A6 Scottsboro AL
KDXZ Saint George UT
K65S Bonners Ferry ID
KVNC Venice FL
KI39 Richmond KY
KGHB Garden City Oil Platform LA*
KCRX Corinth MS
KMIS Main Pass 140B MS
KETC Tarboro NC
K0VG Jonesville VA

They will NOT ever plot for you until you ingest the new file.

For those still running versions 1.xxxx I have updated the station tables.

It is at
http://www.weatherroanoke.com/digatmos.stn

For those running versions 2.x

I have updated the location-identifier-list.csv file.

I am reconfiguring D.A. after my hard drive crash, what is the latest station list file for v 2.09 professional? In what folder do I place it in and what is the name of the file that I have to replace?

In the latest .csv file, 'KPTN' is listed as Kings Point, NY. However 'KPTN' is also Patterson Memorial in Louisiana.
