When retrieving data (one selected) I get this message

You have to post more info. What file and where are you downloading from.

It's hard to tell with limited info, but it sounds like it could be that your script is trying to put a file in a directory that doesn't exist, or is spelled differently.

Hello,

using no scripts.

after generating a map then :

1.data-retrieve data (clicking metar from NIU)
2.error :can not create file

However:surface plots are on the map

I looked at the data from NIU. There were numerous files, depending on the time, that only had a few stations (data) listed. Try using a different data source such as FSU or CoD.

Problems solved.

Complete Reinstalling the program solved the problem.
Probably again a Window 7 error. :mrgreen:
