FONTS: Weather symbols

Q. The new version also prints and displays very small weather symbols for rain, snow, etc. The previous versions printed larger, more readable symbols. Is there anyway to increase the symbol size without having to increase the font size for all the weather observation data?
Not at this time. However this is a good suggestion for a future version. Also we are in the process of subcontracting out work on the fonts to make them more legible at smaller scales (a technique called hinting). Hopefully you will see better performance in upcoming versions.
