Strange Synop-Data near Paris, France

Post by Stefan Lichius »

Hi all,

I have the following problem:
Since several weeks I get a strange synop-data from a station (perhaps automated, but I don`t know exactly) near Paris in France.
The download file comes from "weather.cod.edu" and the map settings it happens are:
Lat::50.420N
Lon.: 10.512E
Scale: 820
Image width: 800
Image height: 640

If I made any analyze, like "Sea level pressure" or "Temperature" I get strong, circle fields, because the data of the station are 20°C to high and the pressure data are 20 hPa to deep for example from the real data.
In the "output-file" of DAW the station appears as the following:

* XXXX 48.70 2.00 0 0600 23.0 5.0 340/00 * 10 L* * 1003.9 * 1 3 *

Curious:
In the "digatmos.stn" the station cannot be found.
Anyone out there who has made the same experience?
Any kind of help is appreciated,

thanks,
Stefan Lichius
