HI All,
Is anyone else having problems downloading cycle files form NOAA?

ftp://weather.noaa.gov/data/observations/metar

Update..............

I emailed those nice guys at the NWS and got the following reply...

FTP'ing to weather.noaa.gov has not been a officially supported service, but something folks realized they could do and started. The official ftp address is tgftp.nws.noaa.gov

You might want to consider using the http protocol instead and accessing http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/xxxxx.... (old path).

You will find this to be faster. At some point in the future, we will be phasing out the ftp protocol in favor of http, as they are pretty much the same and we can push out lots more data to more users using http.
