I want to know in which folder they have to be before i convert them?

Ty,

Since I'm not familiar with what 'dwd' is or what satellite broadcast you are talking about (NOAAPort?), I'm not sure what to say except, if GRIB files are WAFS-type, they go in the WAFS directories, else, they go to the NWS directory.

Could you explain in more detail what this data feed is?? I'm curious.

thanks,

GRIB from DWD

Post by Fred »

Hello Jeff

I saw the heading of the message and was interested. I don’t use WINGRIDDS, but DA and I receive weather satellites via Eumetcast.
DWD is the Deutsche Wetter Dienst (German Weather Office). Every day I receive via the satellite weather maps, satellite images and also GRIB-files from DWD. I don’t know what type of files they are. I can read them with the GRIBViewer of David Taylor (http://www.satsignal.net/).

If you send me by PM an email address I can send you some examples.

Greetings

Fred
