Greetings:
I told you guys that I would probably be back with a new question. I was looking for the mapping software to update the map in BUFKIT. I found one link, but it was not working. Then I found a site and downloaded a file called mapmaker.zip. I downloaded it and tried to run it, but it said that it couldn't find a file and was unable to run. Any ideas on how to proceed, as I am stymied right now. A link to the proper software would be really helpful

Bufkit Maps
Dear Ben and everyone else:
I have been successful! I got the map adjusted to show Michigan and its surrounding waters as I wanted. It was more complicated than it needed to be, because when I went back to the Bufkit home page, and scrolled to the very bottom, lo and behold, there was the link to the mapmaker software. I can't believe I missed it the other times I was on that page.
The download went fine, but it came back saying that it could not find the "threed.vbx" file. Apparently, the file path on Windows XP is different enough that Mapmaker couldn't find it. I copied the file from MSWorks to the mapmaker folder, and voila! there was the Mapmaker dialog box. I may make a computer programmer yet. I blame Tim V. If it wasn't for DAWS and DA2000, I probably would have lost interest in my computer before now. Now all I have to worry about is setting Bufkit up for lake effect snow. Don't think I have to worry about that any time soon.
