Wafs data processing

Post by jamescfletcher »

I have experienced the same problem on numerous occasions while trying to process WAFS octants L I and J together (ie area 120W-150E, 0N-90N). I define the area using the "octets.WL3" option which, if edited, appears to be correct. The processing data for pcgridds option gives the following error
"File open error: error/file= 29 c:\pcgridds32\griddata\"

Clearing this error returns me to the menu without creating the data file.

The grib2pcg.out file (attached) shows data to be missing in the following line
OCTANTS TO BE USED= (the octants are normally listed here but are missing when this combination is used)

Processing any two of these octants together works without any problem.

Any help with this will be really appreaciated.
Thanks,
James Fletcher

James,

I'll look into this.

Thanks,
