Macros involving time differences

I would like to write a macro that enables me to display time differences in different fields, such as pres and hght. I know I could write a very long macro with many lines such as "hght tdif fhrs 00 03", "hght tdif fhrs 03 06", and so on. There has to be a better way. I did notice that there is a command "delt" which appears like it could be helpful in this matter, but my initial efforts using it have failed. If anyone has some good ideas, please let me know. Thanks!
