Working With the USSI Flag

Post by ncwxman »

Jeff,

I have not had any success when working with the USSI (User Selected Lifted Parcel Selected) flag. Not sure how to work with this. Would you please give me an example of how to work with this flag.

Thank you,

Kevin

Kevin,

The USSI flag uses whatever level is set for the SLVL flag. So, if you type SLVL 850 which is then followed by CPOS USSI, the bottom of the sounding will start at 850 mb. Did I forget to cover that in the release notes?? If so, I'm sorry.

Good luck,
Jeff

Jeff,

It appears that this flag is not working. I typed

Code: Select all

cpos ussi
after setting the level to 850 mb and nothing plotted. :(

Kevin,

OK...the USSI flag is now working as well. How did all these bugs slip through...I though I tested this?!?!?!

Thanks for catching these. The update will be out tomorrow.
