Hi Folks,

I know the sustained wind script is |CONT CINT=5 COLOR=85:3:71 VMPH WSPD Is there a gust script? I couldn't seem to find it in the manual. Thanks so much for your assistance. I'm new to DAWS and this forum.

Regards, Cliff

Hi Cliff,

I don't think an analysis of gusts can be scripted, or even analyzed, in DAWS at this time.

If a plot will do, you could save a plot model with GUST as a center plot, and save the model with the SPS file extension (be sure to exclude plotting wind barbs in the model). Once saved this model can be called by script for plotting wind gusts.

I know of nothing outside of the above DAWS can do regarding gusts. One thing you may want to do is email Tim Vasquez...he may know of a way to script what you are looking for. If it isn't available, you could probably request for inclusion in the next version of the program.

Pat,

Thanks so much. You've saved me a lot of time plugging in the variables just to see if it would work.

I appreciate your response and enjoy this forum!

Regards...still learning, Cliff
