A few tweaks, as I prefer the standard 4mb increment. The azores high show up nicely below.....

I should spend more time on scripting!! I`m full of a cold at the moment :(
The legend looks good.

I hope you are feeling better, Bob!

Great scripts really look good, hope to be scripting like that soon.

I have a problem with these legend, how do i stop them coming up. I am with overlaying, but somtimes the legend is biger than my overlay.

How do i over come this

Hi Ian,

I think you are referring to the text DA WS produces as it does the flood fills, correct? There isn't anyway to get rid of that at the moment, but you can make it less noticable. Go to Preferences, Styles, Legend block and change the settings to 1 and Arial, the text will hardly be noticable.

The maps I posted were created using the beta version of Digital Atmosphere Fusion, the latest version of the software - the legend text can be "switched off" in that version. See the beta test section of the forum for instructions on how to get the beta version.

Really just a small variation of what I posted for the sfc wind script. I chose gray for the higher values - because that's what looked best for my use. Temps and heights are isoplethed, geostrophic barbs and station plots are all included. This looks a little better on a larger map because of the slight barb "scrunching" noticed on smaller ones.

The above legend w/text doesn't work with this script.

This should produces a really cool color gradient effect for you on regional US zooms.
