Isobar script?

Post by footballrunner11 »

Is there a downloadable script for plotting isobars? I am new to Digital Atmosphere and I don't know how to plot isobars in the program.

Thanks,
Michael

analyze,HILO CONT CINT=4 LINE=2 SLPR
analyze,HILO CONT CINT=0.05 ALST

The first is a script for sea level pressure; the second is for the altimeter setting (in inches).

To use these in scripting click on the scripting tab on the upper left, the click create; copy and paste the first line into the pop-up window, click file then save and maybe save it as slp.

To run the script click run then select slp.dsf

To see what the various menu analysis commands look like in Digital Atmosphere click analysis then edit analysis scripts. The file that pops up is called digatmos.mnu and can be found in the DigAtmEquinox root directory. This file can also be opened/edited using notepad.
