Urgent!

Post by severe storm_forecaster »

All...

To plot sea surface temperature contours and such, do I need to take in which data type:

Metar or Synoptic?

I had this working just last night, and everything plotted. Now earlier this morning, the color contours did not plot, but the buoy surface data did. Is there certain times when ocean data can be obtained?

Thanks,

Randy

Synop data isrequired as Metar data originates from airports and therefore would be of no value for SST.

Happy to hear you have it working
