Hi denis,

I am on a steep learning curve here

This seems to be a script to display plots only - have you already downloaded them and imported them into DAWS ??

Hi,

Yes, of course, you need first to download first. Here is an example of script I have written for Europe. Replace 'c:\MTO\' by your own directory:

#DOWNLOADS

#SYNOP
download,http://www.atmos.albany.edu/weather/data1/surface/syn/@Y@M@D@S_syn.wmo,c:\MTO\syn.wmo

#UPA
download,http://www.atmos.albany.edu/weather/data1/upperair/@Y@M@D@X_upa.wmo,c:\MTO\upa.wmo

#FRONTS & SPHERICS

download,http://www.atmos.albany.edu/weather/data1/surface/syn/@Y@M@D_sfuk30.wmo,c:\MTO\sfuk30.wmo
download,http://ftp.hb-yacht.ch/ASXX21.@D1200,c:\MTO\fleet.wmo
download,http://www.hamweather.net/weather/asus01/asus01.txt,c:\MTO\asus.wmo

#HURRICANES

download,http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/data/raw/wt/wtnt25.knhc.tcm.at5.txt,c:\MTO\at5.wmo

#INGEST
ingest,c:\MTO\*.wmo
