Hello all:

I have, well sort of, came up with the following script, but the colors are all goofed up on it. I can't seem to get it right, so could someone help me out with this? Also, I am looking to do a similar script for dew point temperatures using dark green for the highest dew points and then gradually becoming lighter as the dew points are lower.

I am no good with this, but tried my best. Temperatures are F of course.
Here is what I came up with:

# Analyzing temperature step 2

Hi,

I'm new to the group but I have a script which seems to work well for plotting temperatures. Feel free to use it if you like... to choose my color values I just opened MS Paint and played around with the Define Custom Colors feature.

Urgent - help requested!

I've been playing around with a dew point script, and came up with this, below. But, it don't seem to run as it should, and I don't know what I screwed up, but I would appreciate any help to get it working again.

# Dew Point analysis
ANALYZE,OVER FILL COLOR=253:253:253
LSTN=0 OVER FILL COLOR=226:252:226
LSTN=5 OVER FILL COLOR=208:250:208
LSTN=10 OVER FILL COLOR=201:251:201
LSTN=15 OVER FILL COLOR=182:250:182
LSTN=20 OVER FILL COLOR=159:249:131
LSTN=25 OVER FILL COLOR=141:248:108
LSTN=30 OVER FILL COLOR=134:247:099
LSTN=35 OVER FILL COLOR=120:246:080
LSTN=40 OVER FILL COLOR=107:246:064
LSTN=45 SADC=1:50 STOR=1 DEGF DWPT

ANALYZE,OVER FILL COLOR=21:112:014
GRTN=90 OVER FILL COLOR=023:123:015
GRTN=85 OVER FILL COLOR=025:135:017 FILS=0
GRTN=80 OVER FILL COLOR=027:142:018
GRTN=75 OVER FILL COLOR=029:153:019
GRTN=70 OVER FILL COLOR=031:163:021
GRTN=65 OVER FILL COLOR=032:171:021
GRTN=60 OVER FILL COLOR=033:178:022
GRTN=55 OVER FILL COLOR=035:185:023
GRTN=50 OVER FILL COLOR=036:192:024
GRTN=45 SADC=1:50 STOR=1 DEGF DWPT
ANALYZE,CONT EQUA=60 LINE=2 COLOR=0:0:0 DEGF DWPT

Thanks to who ever helps me...

Randy

Randy,

It works okay for me. What specific problems are you having?

Bob:

I'd get range check errors. And then the colors did not turn out right. What I'd like is a light color, such as white as dew point go below 40 and 30 degrees F, and then be a deep green for dew points above 70. Kind of a gradient thing.

What does it show for you?

Randy,

My experience with getting range check errors in scripts is almost always related to putting too many operations on a single line.

I'll try to cook up a dewpoint script for you in the morning.

Randy,

Here's a dewpoint script that I came up with that you might want to try. It colorfills from 0°F to 80°F.

Code:
ANALYZE,OVER FILL COLOR=215:255:176 LSTN=0 OVER FILL COLOR=176:245:137 LSTN=5 OVER FILL COLOR=137:235:98 LSTN=10 OVER FILL COLOR=98:225:49 LSTN=15 OVER FILL COLOR=68:215:19 LSTN=20 OVER FILL COLOR=45:209:5 LSTN=25 OVER FILL COLOR=49:196:9 LSTN=30 OVER FILL COLOR=39:186:9 LSTN=35 OVER FILL COLOR=39:176:0 LSTN=40 OVER FILL COLOR=29:166:0 LSTN=45 DEGF DWPT
ANALYZE,OVER FILL COLOR=0:80:0 GRTN=80 OVER FILL COLOR=0:98:0 GRTN=75 OVER FILL COLOR=0:107:0 GRTN=70 OVER FILL COLOR=9:117:0 GRTN=65 OVER FILL COLOR=9:127:0 GRTN=60 OVER FILL COLOR=19:137:0 GRTN=55 OVER FILL COLOR=19:147:0 GRTN=50 OVER FILL COLOR=29:156:0 GRTN=45 DEGF DWPT
ANALYZE,HILO CONT EQUA=65 COLOR=0:165:0 LINE=2 CONT CINT=5 GRTN=80 COLOR=0:210:0 CONT EQUA=75 COLOR=0:180:0 CONT EQUA=70 COLOR=0:150:0 CONT EQUA=60 COLOR=0:120:0 CONT EQUA=55 COLOR=0:105:0 CONT LSTN=50 CINT=5 COLOR=0:90:0 DASH DEGF DWPT

When you copy and paste into DAWS, the script should consist of 3 lines...all beginning with ANALYZE.

hth,
Bob

Now why could'ent I think of this? :oops: Anyway, great job on the script as it is just what I was looking for. You should visit my web site when you get a chance. I think you might enjoy it!

Hello,
I see your all working arround with F degree I was trying to change it to C degree with a minimum off -40 and a maximum off 65 C the + is ok but the minus are a big pan so far. what am I doing wrong???
