Hello:

I'm a new user of DAWS here and was very used to the function of the Pressure Tendency output from the older DA2000 product, both in terms of appearance and speed.

Fred's routine below is VERY nice in appearance, but it is noticeably slower than the old routine. Does anyone have a script that will just contour the values without all the great looking colorizing?

I'm new at the scripting so I've not had time to figure this one out myself, but nave a need for the output in the near term.

Do you have any other scripts you are willing to share? I'm new to the scripting so I'm looking for just about anything as a way to learn how to write them.

Not a huge number, but if you have anything specific, let me know.

Most of the scripts I have done are of the colour fill variety, but removing the fills is easy. For example, the script I sent you yesterday was simply the last three lines of the original, with all the colour-fill bits removed.

Really anything you have would help me out, I'm trying to learn scripting and the more different stuff I look at the better for me to learn and think of new things to do.

I don't mind the color fills at all, they look great, but printing out on a B&W laser doesn't work too well, hence he needs sometimes for just contours.

I suggest you play around, substituting other parameters for the 'TEMP' one above.

You will soon get the hang of it, and be making charts to suuit your specific needs.

It is also helpful simply to use scripts from this board. Comment out selected lines to see what different parts of the code achieve.
