SCRIPT: Jet Stream 500

Post by Greg Higgins »

Tim had asked us to post scripts so I, being new to scripting (and I'm sure there are many others) will post several for others to use and comment on. All that you need to do is cut and paste into a text editor (MS NotePad works well) and save it as a ".dsf" file. Good luck!

Scripting

Post by bobround »

Greg,

I'm new to scripting as well as Digital Atmosphere. Can you tell me how to run the script once I've created it? Thanks.

Just do the following:

1. Click the 'scripting' tab at top-leftof the DAWS screen
2. Click the 'Run' button
3. Navigate to the '.dsf' file you have saved
4. Double-click the filename to open it.

Is there a way to make the arrow (wind lines) smaller?

There may be something I can change in the program?

Thanks

Hi, Beau.

Nope ... short and sweet:)

Edit: You may want to give streamlines a try. Or maybe even barbs - but these looked a little scrunched together on small scale maps, but at least they shouldn't overlap each other.
