Temperature button question

Post by astrodrummer »

Greetings,

I am totally new to using Digital Atmosphere so expect a lot of questions from me in the future!

My first question deals with the F and C buttons (temperature) on the taskbar. When I click F, the actual temperature appears for jusy a secons, then the map fills with 32 all over. The same happens for C but the screen fills with 0's.

How do I fix this? I am running 2.01 professional.

That post doe not help me. The only folder I have is in Program Files/Digital Atmosphere. I see no .ini file for me to edit. Only a DAT file and a DLL file.

Yes the post does help you. The only change is that the post was written for ver 1.40 and not ver 2xx. The major change was the location of the files due to MS Vista requirements. Substitute the line:

C:\Program Files\DigAtmEquinox

for this line:

C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR NAME HERE]\Local Settings\Application Data\DigitalAtmosphere

You are also NOT editing an ini file, but the digatmos.mnu file.

That worked. I just had to go tp C:\users\my profile\appdata\local\digital atmosphere to edit that file.
