Some of you may have noticed that the "NOAA Weather Server" choice under radar sources (in Prefs) is not working (since May or so). NOAA has changed some of the URLs for their products. I have poked around and gotten the new addresses to restore NOAA access to radar data for DA.
The COD radar choice does work, but not for Alaska, and perhaps only for BREF1. You may have to change your scripting for radar "get" to BREF1 instead of 248 mi. for either source -- Doesn't matter, because it appears the BREF1 now is 248 mi. anyway. No loss.
If you want the .rad file to gain re-access to NOAA/NWS radar, let me know. I can send it to you.
Board update
Effective April 12, 2021, we had to delete about 8000 frivolous spammer accounts going back over a year. There was no way for us to locate all legitimate user applications, so some may have been deleted. If you are an actual user who created an account since March 2020 but did not get approved, please register again. You can also contact us via the Contact link on the main Weather Graphics webpage to get assistance. When you contact us, it is essential you provide brief but detailed info on your meteorological background or inform us of any previous order you've made, this way we can tell you are a legit user, otherwise we will assume it is a spammer trying to bypass the application checks. Thanks. -Tim

Re: Restoring NOAA/NWS radar access
Okay, here is an updated digatmos.rad file which returns the NOAA radar site to working.
As usual, backup your old file, just in case of problems. It goes into your users/xxxx/AppData/Local/DigitalAtmospherexxxx or wherever your Preferences has the DA operating directory is.
Context:
The old NOAA url totally stopped working.
The only other option (College of DuPage) generally works, BUT has a intermittent problem where an error popped up on sites that were down for maintenance, and it was hard to get out of it. Which sites this happened with, was always changing as different sites go up and down frequently.
I hope this helps.

Re: Restoring NOAA/NWS radar access
Oh wow, I didn't realize that I had the wrong extender. I had https://weatherroanoke.com/digatmos.dat which wouldn't link. Sorry about that.
I fixed it in my prior post as well.
But to also have it here, get the correct "fixed" radar file below:
https://weatherroanoke.com/digatmos.rad
Any feedback on this working or the need of it from anyone?
